The Venue Lumièr is set on a endless riverside garden that feels both natural and intentional - in Kameeldrift, East of Pretoria. On the property, you’ll find a modern partial-glass building that has the functionality of opening up completely to the evergreen garden. In addition our bridal suite with it's own seperate lounge as well as a grooms suite boasts a 4 star rating. We easily host up to 150 guests in our reception hall, and there are various accommodation options withing a few minutes from the venue.

Wedding Planner
From a decade of experience in the wedding industry, and planning hundreds of weddings, Mel - co-owner of Lumiér on Riverside, is your personal wedding dream-come-true maker. From managing your website RSVPs, handling nosy mother-in-laws, and organising all your wedding day suppliers and details, you can truly focus on what matters - your in-love butterflies of newly said vows, treasured friends and family, and celebration - without a single thought of stress.
Decor & Florist
Inhouse decor and florist means you cut out the middle man, dealing directly with Michelle, who is a seasoned florist and co-owner of Lumiér on Riverside. Knowing every single flower, leaf and plant by name, she takes your style and inspo for your wedding day and curates it to become uniquely you in every way. What's more, every wedding day design is created only once - never will your wedding day decor and design be repeated for anyone else.
Catering
We've mentioned how your guests are served hors d’oeuvres when they arrive, how Entrée's are served family style on the tables, and how dessert becomes an event on it's own. But what is worth mentioning is that Reinhard, co-owner of Lumiér (and coffee shop owner) runs the kitchen in-house with his team of Chef's, ensuring the best possible quality and perfection.

PRICING
When you have viewed our Pricing Collections and found the estimate that speaks to you, book your viewing with us online. Kindly take to heart that our viewings are time away from our families, kindly honour your booking with us, and give us timeous notice if you are unable to attend.
BOOKING AND CONSULTATION
Following your viewing, we prepare a tailored proposal outlining all services and costs. To secure your date, a 25% non-refundable booking fee is required, with the balance paid in scheduled instalments.
DESIGN & PLANNING
Together we refine every detail: menu selection, décor style, flowers, sound and lighting, timelines, and formalities. Our wedding planner coordinates all suppliers seamlessly, ensuring every aspect is aligned with your wishes. We will also setup a meeting with our florist for your flower and decor consultation.
FINAL CONFIRMATION
One month before your wedding, we meet for your mock table, final guest numbers, service flow, and the master timeline. All final payments are due at this stage.
WEDDING DAY
Relax and enjoy - everything is taken care of. From preparation in the bridal suite to the last dance, our team works behind the scenes to deliver an effortless, unforgettable celebration. You are connected to us at all times with a radio for any needs that may show up.
